Towers Casino Shut Down Unexpectedly
Steve Sisolak's statewide order last Tuesday shutting down casinos and restaurants for 30 days — which police began enforcing Friday — came after health officials reported the state's. 223 Towers Casino in Grass Valley, Calif., opened for poker on Monday, but the next day, it closed the next day after California Department of Justice officers visited the establishment, according to media and social media reports.

BOWLER, WI (WSAU) — A local casino will be shutting its doors for over 3 weeks.
According to a Facebook post, North Star Mohican Casino Resort and Pine Hills Golf Course is voluntarily shutting down all operations. The post says the temporary closure is to 'protect the health and safety of our community and in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribe'.
The location will shut down all casino and resort operations at 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 24th. The casino is aiming for a tentative reopening date after October 13th, just under 20 days after closing. The post also says they appreciate the 'patience and understanding of our guests and the dedication of all casino resort employees during this time.'
